The German national team narrowly missed the first Nations League victory this year. Even if the DFB team showed decent offensive football, the best man was a defensive player. The individual criticism.

Pace, tricks, a goal – but again no win: The German national team under national coach Hansi Flick is still waiting for the first success against a football great power. Almost six months before the World Cup in Qatar, the selection of the German Football Association in the Nations League against vice-European champions England did not go beyond a 1-1 (0-0) despite a strong performance.
