Ramón Santiago J, 36, raped, killed and burned alive the disabled young woman when she was a minor

Agents of the National Police have arrested two individuals after violently assaulting a man and spraying his face with a fire extinguisher to steal almost 6,000 euros in cash, a spokesman for the Superior Headquarters of the Madrid Police has informed Europa Press.

The events occurred on July 30 in the Madrid district of Puente de Vallecas, when the victim was approached by two hooded people who beat him and threw him to the ground. Apparently, the criminals had tricked him by promising to buy a car engine through a well-known second-hand app.

Once the man arrived with the money at the place agreed to make the sale they surprised her face with a fire extinguisher, they stole a backpack with cash and a gold necklacequickly fleeing the scene aboard a vehicle.

The investigation started by the agents, they managed to identification and location of the two authorswho were finally arrested yesterday as allegedly responsible for a crime of robbery with violence, later being brought before the judicial authority.

A rapper with 20 records

One of those arrested, according to police sources, is Ramón Santiago J., a 36-year-old man who, when he was 17, raped, killed and burned alive a Sandra Palo, a young woman with an intellectual disability, a cruel murder for which she was convicted along with José Ramón MM, alias Ramoncín, of the same age. Both were sentenced to 17 years in a detention center but were released in 2012.

The other two convicted were Francisco Javier AL, alias ‘El Malaguita’. When he committed the acts he was 18 years and three months old, for which he was judged as of legal age and sentenced to 64 years in prison, in which he is still serving. Lastly, there is Rafale GF, ‘Rafita’, who was 14 years old at the time of the murder. He served four years in a juvenile center and after leaving it has committed numerous robberies and other crimes against property, for which he has been arrested several times.

The now detainee has 20 records for crimes against property and public health after leaving the detention center. His 19-year-old friend has eight for similar acts. Ramón Santiago has dedicated himself to rap and writes and sings songs with the nickname ‘Zuni’.
