One in six stops will disappear in De Lijn’s new network

The Flemish public transport company De Lijn will take a new step in the rollout of basic accessibility at the beginning of 2024, with buses being concentrated on lines with high demand. In addition, De Lijn’s network will still have approximately 16,400 stops, more than 3,000 stops or 17 percent fewer than before the start of basic accessibility.
