To every participant a specific box and category is assigned (cities, Sanremo successes, names of athletes and many others) and, once the challenge has been won, the competitor loses his subject and acquires that of the competitor beaten. Which will be immediately eliminated.

Whoever, after 6 episodes and 99 duels, manages to conquer the entire playing field, will win the 100 thousand euros up for grabs. Among the competitors who have stood out so far are the very fast journalist Ilaria and the TV quiz veteran Leonardo Lombardi which has “Italian films” as its favorite subject.

Ciro and Fabio, a proven couple

Anime of the comedy group The Jackal, the Neapolitans Priello and Balsamo, always as a couple, have already hosted the last two editions of Name That Tune – Guess the songTV8’s musical game show that lasted until last spring.

Celebrated for participating in LOL – Whoever laughs is out where both won (Ciro the first, Fabio the last ex aequo with Luca Bizzarri), the two comedians were often guests at Tonight anything is possible with fellow countryman Stefano De Martino and were part of the permanent cast of Here and nowRai 3 show with Massimo Ranieri.

Criticisms of the show net of ratings

Despite the good share response of the first two episodes, the second with a very slight decline, The Floor received numerous criticisms. Both on social media and in specialized online publications.

The portal Mowmag for example has fiercely criticized the program, speaking of a show «with an unnerving repetitiveness that uses regional TV graphics. The only enthusiastic one is the presenter, even though we can’t understand why.” To then summarize the opinion with “an embarrassing quiz”.

More tender instead TvBlog who on the one hand has some doubts about the excessive duration, more than two hours, but on the other praises the good attempt to create a “serialized” quiz“. That is, a game that does not end in a single episode and thus almost becomes a TV series.

Also thanks to good casting of contestants which always remain the same and therefore, given the absence of a “replacement” «the audience is encouraged to see the next episode precisely to find out what will happen to the protagonists.”
