The accident happened about 6.10 a.m. towards the coast. The exact circumstances are not yet clear. It is certain that the driver lost control of the steering wheel, ended up next to the highway and came to a stop in a deep canal. There were also four passengers in the car at the time. Emergency services rushed to the scene en masse to free the victims from their plight. For one person, according to the first information the driver, all help came too late. The victim died on the spot. The four others were taken to hospital.
