A woman passed away this thursday and five other people have been injured, three seriously, including a 2-year-old child, when they were run over by the tractor of a Three Kings parade in the Seville town of Marchena, as reported by Emergencias 112 Andalucía.
The event occurred around 8:15 p.m., when residents alerted the coordination center that one of the tractors that participated in the procession of the Magi he had run over several people when driving downhill for reasons that are being investigated and colliding with a wall in the Plaza de San Andrés.
Local Police, Civil Guard, Provincial Council Fire Brigade and the 061 Health Emergency Center, belonging to the Andalusian Health Service, have intervened at the scene, after being alerted by 112. 061 has sent two emergency teams and two ambulances of the Andalusian Health Service.
According to the emergency services, the incident has caused one dead and five injuredincluding two serious, including a minor.
The child has been evacuated to the Virgen del Rocío Children’s Hospital in Seville and a seriously injured, elderly person has been transferred to Traumatology at the same hospital. The other three affected are treated at a health center in Osuna.
