Slavia Prague Ondrej Kudela not prosecuted Glen Kamaraan suspected racist insult.

Scottish Daily Record reported on the matter on Wednesday.

Kudela was suspected of racially insulting Glen Kamara, a player representing Glasgow Rangers, in March 2021. The incident took place in a European League match between Rangers and Slavia.

Kudela denied the allegations. He was banned by the European Football Association Uefa for a ten-match ban on racist language.

– Uefa has already banned Kudela from playing. They found him guilty of racist behavior against Glen, Kamara’s lawyer Aamer Anwar comments.

– It is disappointing that Kudela came in person to a Scottish police station to answer charges. He would have had the opportunity to defend himself in court at the time.

Kamara reacted strongly to Kudela’s words. The owl star was charged with hitting Kudela in the player tunnel after the match.

Kamara was banned from playing three matches in the incident at Uefa.

A criminal report was also filed against Kamara. It does not lead to prosecution.

– Glen is glad the matter is over. Racism should have no room in football. He is deeply grateful for the support of his teammates, clubs and fans, Anwar says.

Prosecutors say the investigation will only continue if new evidence emerges.
