The new owner encountered mice, snails and moisture when he entered cafeteria De Wachtkamer last December. From the outside, the beauty did not shine at him either: even the gumball machines looked crumpled. The canopies, the windows, the lettering: everything about De Wachtkamer prevented him from entering it as a customer.
