Reinier Robbemond is the head coach of Willem II for the second time. The resident of Heerhugowaard today signed an agreement until the summer of 2024 and thus definitively takes over from the recently fired Kevin Hofland.
Reinier Robbemond started the season as assistant to Kevin Hofland. Disappointing results made the Tilburg board decide to say goodbye to its former head coach. Robbemond has already done the honors in recent weeks. In 2018, the 50-year-old Heerhugowaarder was also ultimately responsible for Willem II. Then he replaced Erwin van de Looi, who was also fired.
Tomorrow evening, Robbemond will be on the couch when his team takes on Roda JC in-house. At the moment, the Tricolores are in seventh place in the first division.
