The Swiss sporting goods provider On Holding AG has extended its partnership with the National Olympic Committee Swiss Olympic, which has existed since 2020, until 2034.
In the coming years, the company will continue to provide clothing and shoes to the Swiss teams at the Olympic and Paralympic Summer Games as well as other “Olympic summer multi-sport events for young talent”.
“Numerous young and elite athletes will continue to have access to On products and the biomechanical know-how that On carries from its headquarters in Zurich to the world,” the company announced on Tuesday.
On co-founder Coppetti recognizes “strong sign of trust”
Caspar Coppetti, one of On’s founders, was pleased with the long-term agreement. “We are very proud to extend the partnership with Swiss Olympic early,” he said in a statement. “It is a matter close to our hearts to support Swiss athletes on their way to the top and to offer them the best possible basis for success.”
The contract extension is “a strong sign of trust and shared vision,” emphasized Coppetti. “We are now looking forward to the journey together until 2034 and it is a great honor for us to be able to continue to equip Swiss delegations at the Olympic and Paralympic Games in the future.”
