Christian (Jean-Paul Rouve) is a scientist, dreamer and visionary, with a particular fondness for wild geese. After parting from Paola (Mélanie Doutey)decides to leave the city and move to the Camargue, to pursue his goal: to save the geese in extinction.

To succeed, devises a plan considered insane. Thanks to the route drawn by his own hang glider, he would like indicate to the birds an alternative and less risky migration routeto what they usually go through. By doing so, it would protect them from collision with electric cables and shelter them from lack of food and poaching. The journey starts from Scandinavia and reaches the south of France. This is an almost impossible feat, but Christian is confident.

The son Thomas (Louis Vazquez) is a teenager like many others, with an inordinate passion for video games and has no interest in nature. Due to the commitments of his mother Paola, he is forced to spend the holidays with his father. The thought of staying away for some time from one’s habits, from one’s passions, but above all from the comforts of the city, is equivalent to a real nightmare with open eyes.

Furthermore, Christian and Thomas are a different father and son, distant, in some ways even unable to communicate with each other. However, their relationship takes a turn when together they undertake this journey to discover the beauties of nature, but also of themselves. On the wings of adventurein fact, it is not only an ecological manifesto, but also a film that investigates the father-son relationship.
