The inhabitants of the Eerbeek neighborhood ‘t Haagje are dismayed. The province of Gelderland wants a new road to go right through the park in the area, to serve as an access point for the Folding Boxboard paper factory. Dozens of local residents saw during a protest on Sunday afternoon what it looks like if a road goes right through the park. ,,We are shocked by the impact of the road now that we see it with our own eyes”, says Gaaijo Hoekstra.
