Once viewed with little favor, denim sets are now very popular. The combination of jeans and denim jacket, also known as the “Canadian tuxedo,” was made famous by Justin Timberlake: The singer wore the look at the 2001 American Music Awards. Skirts: From micro to maxi
Anderson Bell
Designer Dohun Kim created a set consisting of a blouson jacket and a matching mini skirt. Both pieces come in a light blue wash and have fringe trim. The jacket is rounded off with a western-look metal detail on the collar, while the skirt attracts attention with its frayed hem.
AWA.KE fashion
Designer Natalia Alaverdian dressed the model in a complete denim patchwork look. The crop top with a rounded shoulder line was combined with a maxi skirt.
Dhruv Kapoor
A maxi skirt with round and square pockets was also seen on Dhruv Kapoor’s runway. The outfit was completed with a matching bralette made of dark denim.
Kenzo
At Kenzo, creative director Nigo showed a denim set consisting of a pleated miniskirt and a dark, fitted blazer with a bright print on the chest.
Marine Serre
The French designer presented a denim micro skirt and a short, fitted jacket without a collar. Both pieces show the crescent moon typical of the fashion house.
Versace
On the Versace runway, however, an oversized stonewashed jacket with a stand-up collar and seam details was seen. Underneath, the model wore a knee-length, tight skirt in the same wash.
Pants: Classic to baggy
Dsquared2
The extra-short cut denim vest with frayed hems meets matching, low-slung dark cargo jeans with extra-long legs.
Stella McCartney
Cargo jeans can also be found at Stella McCartney. It is combined with a large denim jacket – both with a lasered all-over pattern.
Sulvam
Designer Teppei Fujita also took up the oversized look and presented a blue denim jacket with a zip and baggy trousers with torn details and large, rounded pockets.
carpenter
A combination of tight and wide was seen at Zimmermann: The model wore classic straight-leg jeans and an oversized stonewashed jacket with gold buttons.
