Guess rings for his summer appearance in luxury beach clubs is now also expanding its presence in three European ski resorts.
The US clothing group has teamed up with its Italian eyewear partner Marcolin, US fragrance manufacturer Interparfums and Swiss watch brand Sequel to launch three brand appearances in the ski resorts of Cortina in Italy, Zermatt in Switzerland and Hochzillertal-Kaltenbach in Austria.
Ski lifts, swings and a new boutique decorated with peony and snowflake motifs are on display throughout the ski season in Cortina in the Dolomites. At the Matterhorn in Zermatt you can marvel at an igloo with a Guess look and an outdoor area with an ice bar, deck chairs and winter decorations, blankets and scented candles. There is also an ice installation featuring the brand’s ‘frozen’ clothing, accessories, shoes, jewelry, watches and fragrances.
In the Hochzillertal-Kaltenbach ski area in Austria, Guess has equipped gondola lifts, the hotel ‘Die Wedelhütte’ and a restaurant with home accessories decorated with the brand’s logo.
“We are absolutely thrilled with our brand presence in Austria, Italy and Switzerland,” said Paul Marciano, Chief Creative Officer at Guess. “It was wonderful to work on this inspiring decoration and clothing project. These world-class ski resorts are the epitome of luxury and exclusivity, making them the perfect locations to convey the brand’s glamorous vibe.”
The winter appearances will also feature a capsule collection of accessories designed to “bring a touch of fashionable style to the slopes.” This includes a pochette model and an Italian-made hobo bag with eco-shearling trim, as well as new faux fur hats, a wool fedora and an alpaca-blend scarf.
