Things went wrong for Gorter during the first training. The goalie, who has only just returned from an injury, suffered a concussion. It is unclear how that could have happened.
Gorter returns home after one day. Ajax is currently organizing a training camp in Cadíz, in the south of Spain. Georges Mikautadze did not travel to complete his transfer to FC Metz. The injured Branco van den Boomen, Sivert Mannsverk and Silvano Vos also stayed behind in Amsterdam.
Ajax will play a practice match against Hannover 96 on Sunday.
