The KNVB has it concept competition program given freely. Ajax opens the season at home against PhD candidate Heracles, AZ receives Go Ahead Eagels at home in round one, just like last season, and FC Volendam also starts with a home match against Vitesse.
The first topper of the season is the Classic. On Sunday, September 24, national champion Feyenoord will visit Ajax in the Johan Cruijff Arena. Three days after this cracker, FC Volendam goes to Amsterdam for the away match against Ajax. This is a midweek round.
The squatter Ajax – AZ is on the program on Sunday 8 October. And the last North Holland derby of the first half of the season is on Sunday, November 26. AZ and FC Volendam will compete against each other in Alkmaar.
