Vlogging, TikTokken, making YouTube videos… Making a video for online media channels is a profession in its own right, but it is a very nice profession. Omroep Brabant is looking for 6 online content creators for the new television program ‘Hashtag’, who think it’s super cool to participate in this competition. The winner goes home with a contract with Omroep Brabant.
The competition consists of a number of challenges and assignments that the candidates are allowed to do. You will be dropped at a cool location with your phone and equipment to make a fun video about a certain topic. After that you will have time to edit the video. This is done under the guidance of a well-known video maker, who gives tips on the subject.
At the end of the day your video will be ready and will be judged by a jury of three. Are you the new Enzo Knol from Brabant or a creative video maker like NikkieTutorials? Then sign up immediately.
YouTube Shorts
During this competition you will be engaged in making YouTube Shorts. These are vertical videos that can be seen on YouTube. These videos are up to 58 seconds long. You can edit these videos on your phone or laptop, for example, whichever you prefer!
Tiemen Smit is a new face at Omroep Brabant. He will enthusiastically present the program from 2 November. You can get to know him in this video.
Conditions
To participate in ‘Hashtag’ you must be at least 16 years or older during the recordings. You can also participate as a duo, but remember that there is only one contract to be forgiven. The contract can be flexible, so in consultation with each other, for example, a price agreement can be made for a certain number of videos. The contract does not automatically have to be an employment contract with Omroep Brabant. This could also be done on a project basis. In other words: everything in consultation so that everyone is happy.
The cross-media program ‘Hashtag’ will have 9 episodes, of which 8 will be shooting days. Keep in mind that you have to make and keep 8 days off.
