Ömer Erdoğan: I saw the players’ desire to win in training!

Corendon Alanyaspor coach Ömer Erdoğan, who defeated VavaCars Fatih Karagümrük 2-1 at home in the 8th week of Trendyol Super League, said that they achieved an important victory.

At the press conference held after the match, Erdoğan stated that they had not been able to win for a long time, except for the Başakşehir match in the first week of the league.

“We had matches where we played well, got ahead but couldn’t keep the score.” Erdoğan said, “These matches inevitably reduced our self-confidence a little. The last two matches against Fenerbahçe and Adana Demirspor, where we lost in different matches, made us sad.” said.

Stating that the Fatih Karagümrük match has become even more important for them in this sense, Erdoğan said, “I saw the desire and struggle of my football players to win in training. Today, we showed Alanyaspor playing with serious concentration on the field and we achieved the victory. I thank all of them very much.” he said.

Explaining that the Karagümrük match was not an easy victory, Erdoğan stated that all teams in the league, except Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray, were strong enough to beat each other.

Stating that they want to achieve their goals without any losses at home and by collecting as many points as they can outside, Erdoğan said, “I would also like to thank the fans. They showed their faith by calling us to the stands before the match and supported their team until the last minute.” he said.
