A 31-year-old, now former teacher of CSG Ubbo Emmius in Stadskanaal, faces a prison sentence of 2.5 years. He would have abused a student from the age of fourteen.

Two men had blackmailed the teacher with a screen shot of an exciting Snapchat conversation between him and a 15-year-old student. The duo, relatives of the girl, wanted 10,000 euros from him. If he did not cross the bridge, the men would hurt his family and they would put the picture on social media. Because his account amounted to 6,000 euros, he offered that amount. The duo agreed.
He often calls people ‘darling’
The man in question, a 31-year-old resident of Nieuw-Buinen, was in court in Groningen on Thursday afternoon. He was the girl’s teacher and mentor and would have committed sexual abuse with the girl for a year and would have had a racy picture of her in his possession. Child pornography, according to the Public Prosecution Service.
