OM: Mick F. drove into a built-up area under the influence and at 120 km/h at 120 km/h | Inland

Mick F. will remain free pending the final trial. His lawyer expressed regret on his behalf to the relatives, who were emotionally unable to attend the hearing themselves.

According to the justice system, an investigation into, among other things, the airbag of the car would show that F. was driving at a speed of 120 kilometers per hour within the built-up area, on the Burgemeester D. Kooimanweg in Purmerend, when he scooped the woman. According to the public prosecutor, new calculations would have shown that F. was behind the wheel with a blood alcohol level of between 0.81 and 1.47.

ran away fast

After the accident, witnesses told De Telegraaf that F. left his car a total loss, while Roshita and her bicycle were on the road. F. ran away and is therefore also prosecuted for leaving the victim helpless at the scene of the accident. Roshita’s bicycle is said to have been scattered across the road in three pieces. Rescuers have tried unsuccessfully to resuscitate Roshita.

The case has been adjourned indefinitely to allow the defense to put forward further investigative wishes.
