OM is pursuing companies behind the electric wagon De Stint

The Public Prosecution Service is prosecuting two companies responsible for the production and sale of the Stint. Two executives of these companies are also being prosecuted. That writes the OM on Thursday a press release.

Both the companies and the executives are said to have committed several criminal offenses. On the basis of an investigation, the Public Prosecution Service concludes that “the Stint was a harmful product”, that the suspects were aware of these harmful effects and that they remained silent about this.

The ministry took the electric wagon, which daycare centers use to transport children, off the road almost immediately after a serious accident in Oss in 2018. Then a Stint drove onto a railway crossing while a train was approaching. Four children died. Another child and the attendant were seriously injured.
