Olympique Marseille has completed the arrival of footballer Alexis Sánchez. The French club reports that the Chilean forward has signed a one-season contract after passing medical tests.
Sánchez had his contract with Internazionale terminated on Monday. The 33-year-old Chilean had less prospect of playing time after the arrival of the Belgian Romelu Lukaku.
“I hope I can live up to it on the field for the fans,” said the 33-year-old Chilean international. Sanchez said it is a personal goal and a challenge to achieve anything with the club, especially in the Champions League.
The attacker has played for Inter since the summer of 2019, winning the title in 2021 and the cup last season. The South American previously played for Udinese, FC Barcelona, Arsenal and Manchester United.
