Olympic silver for Althaus in ski jumping

Ski jumper Katharina Althaus (25) won silver on the normal hill at the 2022 Winter Olympics.

The 25-year-old jumped 105.5 meters in the first of two rounds in Zhangjiakou on Saturday. She was leading in front of the two Slovenians Ursa Bogataj and Nika Kriznar, but had bad wind conditions in the second round.

Bogataj took gold with Kriznar third.

Already on Monday old house the next opportunity to win another medal. Together with a teammate and two jumpers from the team of national coach Stefan Horngacher, she then wants to attack in the mixed team.
