Olympic champion presents his own calendar

Johannes Rydzek, two-time Olympic champion in Nordic combined, is launching his first photo calendar.

He swapped his skis for a camera: the two-time Olympic champion in Nordic combined, Johannes Rydzek, is bringing out his first photo calendar – and is also supporting a good cause.

From the purchase price of 20 euros, he donates five euros to Athletes for Ukraine “to support the athletes and people in Ukraine,” explained the 31-year-old.

On November 25th, Olympic champion Johannes Rydzek will start his 15th World Cup season

The calendar contains 13 motifs, most of which Rydzek chose animal and landscape shots from the Allgäu.

He wanted to “express my closeness to nature and my homeland and capture the landscape, atmosphere and fascinating nature,” explained the six-time world champion.

Rydzek presented his extraordinary project at a press conference in his home town of Oberstdorf. On November 25th he will start his 15th World Cup season in Ruka/Finland, then his calendar will also be on sale.
