Lindsay van Zundert has given figure skating a major boost through her Olympic achievements. That is also thanks to Thomas Kennes. He is one of her trainers. In addition to the training sessions at Van Zundert, Kennes also teaches a number of times a week at the ice rink in Haarlem, where he prepares the new talents.
Thomas Kennes himself won the national title six times and recently ended his figure skating rink. Now at 25, he trains almost every day and helps riders pursue their dreams. In addition to the trainer’s profession, Kennes also commented on the NOS during the Olympic Games.
