2.30pm – Freestyle: Slopestyle women

Without German participation, the final will take place in the women’s slopestyle. Aliah Delia Eichinger dropped out in the qualification. In the final is China’s superstar Eileen Ailing Gu, who is hoping for another precious metal after her gold medal in the Big Air.

2:30 p.m. – Snowboard: Big Air Finals Women

How is the final going for Annika Morgan? The 20-year-old German qualified in eighth place. But she is not one of the top favourites. These include defending champion Anna Gasser of Austria and qualifier winner Zoi Sadowski-Synnott of New Zealand.

4.00 a.m. – Alpine skiing: downhill women

DSVAfter her second place in Zauchensee, starter Kira Weidle is considered a medal favorite for the downhill. The Vice World Champion also impressed with very good performances in training. Defending champion Sofia Goggia is also at the start. The Italian dominated the speed disciplines – until a few weeks ago she suffered a serious knee injury and had to take a break.

6:00 p.m. – Snowboard: Big Air Final Men

The German snowboarders Leon Vockensperger and Noah Vicktor are absent from the last snowboard decision of the Beijing Winter Games. After his Olympic victory in slopestyle, Max Parrot can also hope for a medal in Big Air. The Canadian prevailed in the qualification.

7:30 a.m. – Biathlon: Relay men

The German biathletes, who have not yet received a medal, are challenged in the relay, but are not among the favorites in the strong field. Norway, Russia, France, Sweden: the circle of contenders for the triumph is quite large. For the DSV Erik Lesser, Roman Rees, Benedikt Doll and Philipp Nawrath start. The relay was originally supposed to take place at 10 a.m., but the start was brought forward because of the freezing cold.

11.30am – Nordic Combined: Cross-Country Skiing

Who will be the leader after Spingen (9 a.m.) in the cross-country skiing over 10 kilometers (11.30 a.m.)? Can Vinzenz Geiger repeat his golden triumph on the normal hill? And how is it going for defending champion Johhanes Rydzek? Eric Frenzel and Terence Weber are not there. Further DSV-Starters are Julian Schmid and follower Manuel Faißt.

1:15 p.m. – Bobsleigh: 3rd and 4th runs of two men

Medals are firmly planned for the German two-man bobsleigh: Top favorite Francesco Friedrich leads after the first two runs ahead of his teammate Johannes Lochner. Will Friedrich succeed in defending his title?

More competitions

For the speed skaters, the team pursuit is on the program (from 7.30 a.m.): Japan and Canada are the favorites for the women, and the Netherlands, USA, Norway and Russia for the men. German athletes are not at the start.

The figure skaters (from 11 a.m.) start their competition with the short program. The focus is on the only 15-year-old Kamila Valiewa, who is allowed to go on the ice despite the strong suspicion of doping. The six-time German champion Nicole Schott from Essen will call up her skills for the German Skating Union.

The men are looking for the finalists for the aerials (12 p.m.) in freestyle. The competition takes place without German participation.
