From a German perspective, the day could end with two medals in one competition. After two out of four runs of the Olympic skeleton race, Christopher Grotheer and Axel Jungk are on course for a medal. While Grotheer is in first place by a clear margin, Jungk was able to move up to second place in the second race. The Chinese Yan Wengang is in third place before the final day.

The ski jumpers are in action on the large hill for the first time. From 12 noon, Karl Geiger and Co. will qualify for the individual.
The women’s Olympic ice hockey tournament is entering the hot phase: the USA and the Czech Republic (from 5.10 a.m.) and Canada against Sweden (from 2.10 p.m.) are playing for the semi-finals. Also for the men from 9.40 a.m.: Czech Republic – Switzerland and Sweden – Slovakia. From 2.10 p.m. Latvia will play against Finland.
