Olymp appoints Florian Neu to the newly created position of Director Brand Management and Design.
The shirt specialist from Bietigheim-Bissingen announced on Thursday that Neu has been in this position since May 8th. He is to “coordinate the planning and development of the growing portfolio across brands and interfaces, thereby increasing product performance”.
“The increasingly complex market challenges and high demands on quality and sustainability require professional management in the conceptual work and operational implementation,” said Heiko Ihben, Olymp Managing Director for the Brand and Product areas.
New comes from Schiesser mother Delta Galil
Previously, Neu worked for Delta Galil International Brands GmbH, where he was responsible for the Adidas licensing business for about two years. Before that, he worked for the Austrian underwear supplier Huber Holding AG as managing director for the Skiny Bodywear and Huber Bodywear brands. His career started at the Metzingen fashion group Hugo Boss.
“With him, we can guarantee optimal support for our product range from development to production to market launch across all interfaces, thereby significantly increasing our proven clout as a product specialist and also pushing ahead with the expansion of other product groups,” says Ihben.
It was only announced last Friday that Olympus and the previous creative director, Lasse Holger Mitterhusen, were going their separate ways.
