Olli Jokinen’s Jukurit gets stronger with the Norwegian national team kit

Sander Vold Engebråten will play in Mikkelin Jukurei next season.

According to information received by Iltalehti, Jukurit acquired the defender by Sander Vold Engebråten From Storhamar’s team to their ranks for next season. The 20-year-old Engebråten is considered one of Norway’s most talented defenders.

In this season’s regular season, the 182-centimeter package scored 6+20=26 power points in 43 matches.

Engebråten, who also plays in the national team of the country of the Fjords, is a good skater and a skilled puck player.

In the 2019–20 season, the youngster went to get experience from the Swedish side of Södertälje’s A-junnu team. The player, who shoots from the right, also made it through Norway’s junior national teams.

At “Numpa” school

Engebråten can be reached in Mikkeli Olli Jokinen and By Toni Lydman for coaching. The youngster already has previous experience with Finnish coaches, as Petteri Nummelin and Miika Elomo coached him in Storhamar a couple of years ago.

Jukurit finished 11th in the league’s regular season this season.
