Olivier Vandecasteele has landed in Belgium and emotionally embraces his family

When he got off the plane, his family was waiting for him on the runway of the military airport in Melsbroek. Smiling broadly, crying with emotion and chanting his name, they fell into each other’s arms when Olivier Vandecasteele, in a suit, stepped out of the A400M transport plane.

Emaciated and deeply emotional, Vandecasteele embraced his parents, his relatives and his loved ones.

A delegation from the Belgian government, including Prime Minister Alexander De Croo and Minister of Foreign Affairs Lahbib, was also present. At a discreet distance, of course. The King also called Olivier Vandecasteele during his return flight to Belgium.
