Her new track “Vampire” is scheduled to be released on June 30th.
More than two years after the release of her debut album SOUR, Olivia Rodrigo is back: The 20-year-old shared the cover of her new single “Vampire” via Instagram, which is due to be released on June 30, 2023. The song was created in collaboration with producer Daniel Nigro, who had already worked on SOUR.
According to the song’s official press release, “‘Vampire’ is the sound of an artist in control, imbued with a sense of maturity and a bold confidence… With ‘Vampire’ she is poised to embark on an exciting new chapter to start.”
Alongside the single’s social media announcement, the ‘Driver’s License’ hitmaker also wrote, “My new song vampire is out June 30th! you can pre-order it now. I’m so looking forward to it ahhhhh!!!!!!!!”
Just three weeks earlier, the pop singer had also teased in an Instagram post that her new album was almost ready. The musician wrote under some photos and videos that show the process of creating her debut album: “SOUR is 2 years old today. No words could ever describe how much this album means to me and how incredibly grateful I feel for every blessing it has brought into my life. The new material is so so so so so close to completion, I promise.”
