Hyundai announced the matter on Thursday. The 21-year-old Solberg has not succeeded as expected this season. The team has drawn conclusions and decided to change its driver trio for next season. In the release, it says that it is investing in an experienced driver trio.
Solberg finished fourth in Belgium and fifth in New Zealand. However, there was a lot of volatility in the season.
Solberg will not be seen behind the wheel of Hyundai in the last two races of the season in Spain and Japan.
Hyundai’s star drivers are Ott Tänak and Thierry Neuville. However, the future of the Estonian Tänak has been talked about in recent weeks, and he has not yet told about his plans for next season.
