Spear thrower Oliver Helander is opening its racing season on domestic fields this coming Friday. The name of the European Championship Medalist can be found on the Mikkeli Games participants list.
Chairman of the Mikkeli Games Organizing Committee Jari Liukkonen says he talked to Helander on the phone last week on Monday.
– According to his own words, Oliver starts to reach the top of the season, says Liukkonen.
The participation of Helander is also confirmed by the thrower manager Kristian Bäck.

The bronze medalist in Rome’s European Championships has only competed only once this season. The Doha Diamond League competition resulted in a score of 79.61. Since then, Finland has not been seen at the competition fields in recent years.
