During excavations at the ancient pyramid ‘Las Pinturas’ in San Bartolo, a small Mayan city in Guatemala, researchers have discovered a calendar fragment that may date back to the Mayan era. It is an ancient hieroglyph with the symbols for ‘Day 7 Deer’, one of the 260 days on the Tzolkin, a famous Mayan calendar.
