An elderly man and woman from Oosteind got the fright of their lives this summer when it turned out that there were two burglars in the house. While the couple was working in the garden, two men crept into their house. When the man and woman went inside a little later, they came face to face with the burglars.
It happened on June 2 on the Provincialeweg in Oosteind near Oosterhout. The burglars had previously been walking around in the neighborhood, according to camera images on the street. Probably to explore the area. Then one of the men went to the couple’s home.
Doorbell camera footage shows the man at the front door. He tries to find out whether the residents are home and also looks straight into the camera for a moment. The residents themselves did not see that anyone was at the door, because they were in the garden.
