The robbery took place on Sunday night around 00.45 in the outskirts of Valkenswaard. Two or three robbers broke into the house of an elderly couple. The couple was attacked and injured. According to Omroep Brabant, the 83-year-old man started a fight with the robbers and managed to get them out of the house.
It is not clear whether the crooks stole anything. They are still being sought.
