An old-timer that had been missing for almost ten years was found on Thursday in a shed in Kerkrade.

The police have seized the car. Private detective John Vullers tipped off the police that the car could be found there.

Exhibition
The classic old-timer disappeared almost 10 years ago after an exhibition in Essen, Germany. The owner died at the same time. The moment his children started making an inventory of the estate, the car had disappeared without a trace.

Because the old-timer is worth around a million euros, the family called in a detective agency. “Over the years, I received tips several times,” says Vullers. “I once received an anonymous phone call, an anonymous letter. And a dentist from Salzburg once approached me, he wanted to tell me where the car was but wanted a finder’s fee of ten percent.”

Kerkrade
After these and other tips and other research, Vullers came to the conclusion that the car should be in Kerkrade. Vullers took his investigation data to the police, who found his story convincing and raided the warehouse where the car was found on Thursday morning.
