Olcay Gulsen sets horror figures, serious damage to TV career

Olcay Gulsen’s TV career is seriously damaged as she continues to score horror figures with her own TV show Have Ik Wat Van Je Aan. “She hits a record low with only 89 thousand viewers.”

Have Ik Wat Van Je Aan, the program in which three fashion designers led by Olcay Gulsen compete for the favor of a well-known woman, is a drama with ratings. Yesterday, the presenter set a new low: only 89 thousand people (2 percent market share) watched the broadcast on Net5.

Olcay scores lousy

This time Lucille Werner was the main guest of Olcay. In the first five episodes, they were Maxime Meiland (90 thousand viewers), Bridget Maasland (129 thousand), Daphne Deckers (154 thousand), Irene Schouten (250 thousand) and Anna Nooshin (134 thousand). After a short revival, the program is now completely disappearing again.

Viewer figures expert Tina Nijkamp: “Net5 only does prime time ‘Dutch’ for one evening and that is on Wednesday evening. And those scores have been very disappointing for weeks. Everything now even scores below 100 thousand viewers. Olcay Gulsen has a record low with 89 thousand viewers and only 2.2 percent market share in the commercial target group 20 to 54 years.

Better profiling?

Not only Olcay scores poorly on this broadcast evening of Net5. “The impressive documentary Sterre, Tegen De Klippen Op also only 58 thousand viewers and the purchased series about K3-Kathleen 38 thousand viewers. Perhaps it would be a good idea for Net5 to profile itself a little more clearly.”

Over the entire evening, Net5 was the least viewed top ten channel in the Netherlands. The most watched Net5 program of the evening was Lingo with 173 thousand viewers (3.5 percent).

Eyeballs on one

The prime-time winner was NPO 1’s Oogappels with 983 thousand viewers (22 percent), followed by RTL 4’s I Can See Your Voice with 769 thousand viewers (17 percent). The bronze is for SBS 6 thanks to Today Inside, which attracted 756 thousand viewers (18 percent).

Furthermore, NPO 2’s Nieuwsuur (683 thousand), SBS 6’s Steenrijk Straatarm (606 thousand), NPO 1’s Hands aan de Couveuse (505 thousand) and RTL 5’s 112 Today (387 thousand) were the most popular.
