Olcay Gulsen and radio DJ Ruud de Wild have broken off their relationship. The 43-year-old from Waalwijk announced this on Instagram on Wednesday morning. “We have decided to let go of each other in love.”
The presenter announced her relationship with De Wild in 2019. That early love happiness was soon interrupted when Gulsen’s ex suddenly died. However, the two later found each other again.
In recent years, the couple seemed inseparable. This spring they even got their own soap on NPO 1. It was received with a lot of criticism. Even before the last episode, the two announced that a second season was out of the question.
Now it appears that the relationship will not continue. “In recent months, we are no longer a couple, as you may know us,” Gulsen writes on her Instagram channel. “We still love each other. There’s not anyone else, no hassles and no fights.”
