It’s not going well for Olcay Gulsen. Not only is her latest TV show ‘Do I have some on you?’ started with terrible viewing figures, she also gets two TV critics on her roof.
Olcay Gulsen is back on the tube. The day before yesterday she started the new program ‘Do I have anything on you?’ on Net5, but hardly anyone looked at it: only 90,000 people bothered to sit in front of it. Actually, only Linda de Mol scores worse viewing figures these days.
Nothing about the body
Every episode of Olcay’s program revolves around three other fashion designers who compete for the favor of a famous Dutch woman. In the premiere episode, it was Maxime Meiland, who was looking for a dress for her wedding party. “Fashion programs never really score”, warned viewing figures expert Tina Nijkamp the day before.
According to de Volkskrant, this fashion program in particular is already a complete miss. The newspaper sympathizes with the ambitious designers who participate. “They deserved a nicer format, because the program had nothing to do with it”, sneezes TV critic Alex Mazereeuw.
boring
According to Alex, it has become ‘an extremely boring program’ and that is partly due to the worthless cast. “The role of presenter Olcay Gulsen ended when she lent her shoes, while ‘fashion mentor’ Mart Visser occasionally gave some vague tips.”
His competitor Angela de Jong from the AD sneezes that Olcay ‘finally gets to do something for her salary again’. “Do I need to say that the evening was an outright ratings flop, or do you believe that too?”
Well, that’s going to be a long TV season for Olcay.
