Galatasaray defeated Konyaspor 2-1 in the 7th week of the Super League. Coach Okan Buruk made statements after the match.

“Sometimes, we were passed with very easy passes in our own field. 3 points are very important. We beat the leader of the league and became the leader. We scored a goal against a team that did not concede. Last week, I was happier as a game. We are aware that we have to be better.”
“Galatasaray already has a championship in its soul and genes. We left behind a tough fixture. We are in a good place compared to a newly formed team. We need to improve much more as a game. We will do our best to be in the championship race”
“We will continue to make our fans smile. Our goal is to win the championship. The big 4 are very ambitious this season, and the other teams are coming assertively. We have a good season ahead of us”
