“Galatasaray is the biggest club, the only team that won UEFA and Super Cup, and ranked number one in Europe at the time. I am very happy that Okan Buruk was appointed as the head of the team. Because he is a coach with an epaulette, the championship and the Turkish Cup, I believe he deserves it. I sincerely want it to be successful, because the coaches, sporting directors, commentators and assistant coaches in our generation are people who will contribute to the development of Turkish football.”

I believe that Okan will achieve this with his team, but these things do not happen only with the coach. It happens with the community, the fans, the players, the management and the president. While winning, I think that success comes not only with the coach, but also thanks to our whole staff. Frankly, it is not an easy thing. Okan Buruk’s burden is heavy, but I think he will overcome that pressure and stress from his football career.”
