Since the beginning of the month, crude oil has become significantly cheaper on the world market. During this time, the price of North Sea crude oil has fallen by more than four dollars a barrel. The background is concern about a slowdown in the global economy and uncertainty about the further production policy of important oil states that are part of the OPEC+ network. Most recently, an OPEC+ meeting was postponed to this Thursday.

Media reports talk about disagreements in OPEC+. The Bloomberg news agency had reported, with reference to informed people, that Saudi Arabia was urging other OPEC states to cut production./jkr/jha/
