Amsterdam – The price of crude oil rose another 5% on Wednesday following a disruption in the transportation of the commodity from the CPC pipeline in Kazakhstan. The price increase is passed on fairly quickly, and puts pressure on, for example, petrol and especially diesel rates at the filling stations.
