The RTL reality series Oh Oh Cherso has had a lasting influence on the Dutch language. This is what editor-in-chief Ton den Boon of Dikke Van Dale says in the radio program Volgspot. According to Den Boon, many erotic abbreviations that became nationally known because they were widely used in this series are still prominent in the language used by young people in particular, after more than ten years.
