Bundesliga club Hertha BSC officially announced the entry of US investor “777 Partners” on Saturday morning. A club announcement states: “Hertha BSC GmbH & Co. KGaA has a new shareholder in 777 Partners.”
President Kay Bernstein (42): “This is a forward-looking step for Hertha BSC. We would like to thank Josh Wander for his trust in Hertha BSC.”
777 founder Joshua Wander (41): “It is a great honor to be a partner of one of the founding members of the Bundesliga. All of us at 777 recognize the responsibility that comes with this honor and our team stands ready to help in any way we can. Our top priority is to work with the club and its leadership to ensure Hertha’s long-term success on and off the pitch.”
In the long term, thanks to the new investor, the ailing club should get 100 million euros in fresh money.
