Officers find 5 fetuses in the house of anti-abortion activist | Abroad

The police reported this to various American media. According to WUSA9, the activist, Lauren Handy, sat outside her house while officers brought out cooler boxes with fetuses.

According to a reporter, Handy refused to tell him what was in the boxes, but is said to have said: “People will panic when they hear it.”

The fetuses are currently being examined by a coroner. There is no further information available about where they come from. Police are currently investigating the suspected case.

Handy, along with eight other suspects, was charged in 2020 for her alleged role in blocking an abortion clinic in Washington. They had also streamed this blockade live on social media.

The suspects are charged with federal civil rights conspiracy and violation of the law Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) for their alleged role in blocking two clinic doors using their “body, furniture, chains and ropes,” the indictment said.

This case is still ongoing. The suspects face an 11-year prison sentence.
