Off-White will now accept cryptocurrencies as a means of payment in its flagship stores in Paris, London and Milan.
Valid cryptocurrencies accepted by the Milan streetwear label include Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Binance Coin (BNB), Ripple (XRP), stablecoins Tether (USDT) and USD Coin (USDC), Off- White with. Transactions are processed through the Lunu POS terminal as it is designed to find the best exchange rates and is compatible with multiple crypto wallets.
There is no limit for cryptocurrency transactions in the stores. Refunds for products paid for in this way will be issued as store credit only.
With this step, Off-White follows Philipp Plein. The fashion group is the first to accept cryptocurrencies in its stores and online shop, Philipp Plein announced in August.
French luxury goods group LVMH has held a majority stake in the Off-White brand, founded by the late designer Virgil Abloh, since last July.
