ÖFB team boss Ralf Rangnick presented the last squad of the year on Tuesday for the decisive games in the World Cup qualification against Cyprus and Bosnia-Herzegovina. Of the 24 men from the October course, no one was left out of the squad, but two new players, the recovered Xaver Schlager and Nicolas Kristof, are added. This is the first nomination for the 25-year-old goalkeeper from the German second division club SV Elversberg; the Heidelberg native last played for the ÖFB team in 2015 in the U16 team (more on the squad in detail).
