Of his own accord: Sliskovic leaves Wehen Wiesbaden for a move to India

To Brdaric club Chennaiyin FC?

Petar Sliskovic (31) and SV Wehen Wiesbaden are going their separate ways after just six months. As the club announced on Thursday, the striker is leaving Wiesbaden at his own request and moving to India. It is unclear to which club the Croatian goes. He is linked with Chennaiyin FC, where German coach Thomas Brdaric has recently joined.

“Petar approached us with the wish to leave the club in order to be able to accept an offer from India. We have complied with this request,” said Nico Schäfer, Wiesbaden’s management spokesman. Sliskovic came to SVWW on a free transfer from Türkgücü Munich in the last winter transfer period, where he has not played in a goal in twelve appearances. His contract would have originally expired next year.
